Tractor-trailer crash near I-95 closes ramp through rush hour | News

HENRICO, VA (WWBT) - State Police are at the scene of a tractor-trailer crash near I-95.

The crash occurred around 1:40 p.m. Wednesday near the exit ramp from Interstate 295 southbound to Interstate 95 northbound in Henrico County.

The driver, 51-year-old Munib Malokos, ran off the left side of the roadway and overturned onto the drivers side. 

He suffered minor injuries and was transported to VCU Medical Center.

Malokos was charged with reckless driving. Speed is considered a factor in the crash.

The ramp will remain open as crews remove rolls of paper from the trailer. When the trailer is empty, the exit ramp will be closed to allow crews to upright the tractor-trailer. 

Cleanup is expected to go through rush hour.
