Summertime Opportunity to Learn About Sharks

If you missed out on today's session of "Sharks: Built to Hunt," there are still several opportunities to join in throughout the summer. All ages are invited to the classroom to explore the intriguing features of sharks.

With razor-sharp teeth, a streamlined torso and keen sense of smell, the shark is at the top of the underwater food chain. Their extraordinary predatory skills both facinate and frighten humans.

"Sharks: Built to Hunt" is a free activity at the Three Lakes Nature Center, located at 400 Sausiluta Drive. The next class is scheduled for Friday, July 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Additional classes will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays throughout July and August. The additiona l dates are: July 27, July 29, August 24, and August 26.
